Reza and his friend Mansoor are pickpockets. When Reza by his mother becomes aware that a rich girl has take an oath to marry a war injured person he decides to get close to her and find a way to marry her.

Dave Stimple, an unfocused mattress store owner, is having issues connecting with everyone around him. He arrives at the shop one morning to find the local health and safety people have shut him down. Bugs, huge bed bugs and lots of complaints are cited as the reason. Dave is really confused and his relationships with his wife, friends, and his own humanity seem to be devolving and increasingly distracting anomalies begin to take over his reality. But his issues may not be as internal as they seem.

Summer 1989, East Germany. Adam works as a tailor, Evelyn as a waitress. They are planning a vacation together when Evelyn finds out that Adam is cheating on her and decides to leave for the holiday on her own. She travels to Hungary, trailed by Adam. As the border with Austria falls, everything changes in Hungary. The frontiers are open, as the new possibilities for Adam and Evelyn to decide in which world – Eastern or Western – they want to build a happy life. Adam und Evelyn is based on the homonymous novel by Ingo Schulze, translated in more than ten languages.

Stefan Gabriel (Martin Wuttke) ist Bademeister und engagierter Vater zweier sehr unterschiedlicher Tö(🎸)chter. Die 12-jährige Jessica (Ella Frey) wird wegen ihres wenig mädchenhaften Aussehens oft fü(🌉)r einen Jungen gehalten und hat mit einer ganzen Reihe Ticks zu kämpfen. Im gleichen Maße, wie Sabrinas Zustand schlechter wird, werden Jessicas Ticks immer schlimmer, weswegen die jüngere Schwester einen Plan ersinnt: Ein spezielles Ritual, auf das die Geschwister in einem Buch gestoßen sind, soll fü(🌁)r Sabrinas Heilung sorgen, allerdings muss sie dafür Sex mit einem Jungen haben. Da ihrer älteren Schwester nur noch wenig Zeit bleibt, setzt Jessica nun alles daran einen Partner fü(🗒)r Sabrina aufzutreiben.
